Online distributers and social media make it easy to release music essentially from an iPhone, and seeking success in the music industry is not an uncommon dream. As singles become a driving force, Jayna Jennings took a risk and released a full length, completely immersive, visual album called Southern Gothic Romance, with music videos for each song.

At the beginning of 2023, Jennings recorded the album a couple hours at a time between jobs, and only had 1,000 followers, but after she started releasing singles in anticipation of the release, her following grew to 58,000 in a matter of months.

The release helped Jennings reach the iconic circle at the Grand Ole Opry house as her single 10:43was awarded Song of the Year at the Josie Music Awards. She accepted the honor of Vocalist of the Year that same night.

Jennings has performed in incredible venues across the south east such as AJ’s Good Time Bar, The Velvet Underground at the Hard Rock Cafe, the Bijou Theater, Eddie’s Attic, Museum of Appalachia, Canyon Center Amphitheater, Rhea County Courthouse, and more. Jennings and her band headlined Pigs and Peaches adjacent Charley Reynolds and Drake Milligan on the Luzianne Tea main stage. She is excited to open for Pam Tillis in January.

For her fans, her song 10:43 is a beloved song, and is quickly becoming a favorite amongst the radio stations that have added the song to airplay rotation. She recently released a music video filmed at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum. The video has received three nominations for the JMAs this year. She has 10 nominations total for this year's event.
